Job Description :
Our Candidate is seeking to hire a Manager Tax Associate with 4-7 years experience interested in continuing to develop skills in all tax areas including compliance, planning, research, and advisory services.
Our client's firm provides personalized accounting services to small and medium sized businesses. This position will wear multiple hats and will need to include the following:
- Positive attitude, self learner, outstanding work ethic and an enthusiasm to take new tasks. The candidate must be patient, cheerful, self motivated, well organized and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines as a team player.
- Review and sign tax returns
- Prepare complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, nonprofits, partnerships and trusts
- Tax research experience
- Communicate with IRS, FTB, etc and other regulatory agencies
- Compute quarterly estimates and other computations, including salary projections
- Communicate directly with clients
Required Qualifications :
Requirements:
- CPA or EA license
- Attention to detail and good judgment
- Exceptional Communication skills
- Problem solving skills
- Organized/Good Time Management skills
- Working knowledge with QuickBooks
- Team Player and ability to work independently
- Work overtime during both spring and fall busy seasons
- Proficient computer skills (CCH Axcess, BNA and other accounting software)
