Job Description :
A reputable CPA firm in the San Fernando Valley is seeking a Staff Tax Accountant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for growth!
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare income tax returns
- Payroll (enter and adjust), Sales tax, and other types of tax returns
- Work on more complicated bookkeeping clients that require thought and not just data entry
- Entering credit cards and bank statements
Required Qualifications :
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience (preferably in a public accounting environment).
- Experience with preparing and filling out individual tax
- Willingness to help others and do other duties as needed such as tax return assembly
- Ability to work on your own with little supervision.
- Ability to multitask and be task-oriented (i.e.If there are multiple jobs on this person’s plate, and possess the ability to go back and forth between jobs.).
- Proficient with Excel and QuickBooks
