The Senior Business Systems Analyst will focus on 5 key areas of responsibility: Business Engagement, Project Delivery, Project Management, Quality Assurance, and Production Support while interacting with onshore and offshore development resources, vendors, professional service providers, and global business partners.

Responsibilities:

-Business Engagement-

• Follow established demand management process to engage global business partners on requirements gathering


• Follow established governance process to prioritize requests


• Develop business analysis deliverables, including but not limited to, workflows and process models, detailed business requirements, use cases, business rules, release notes, change management documentation, etc.


• Conduct requirement review with global business users as well as with internal application teams

-Project Delivery-

• Partner with the project delivery team to assess technical feasibility and obtain estimates for the Product Backlog items


• Manage blockers and impediments to the release plan


• Identify and mitigate project risks

-Project Management-

• Develop and maintain project plan to track milestones and detailed tasks


• Track open issues


• Write and communicate project status


• Issue weekly project status reports


• Manage resource allocations across projects

-Quality Assurance-

• Oversee planning, organization, coordination, and execution of quality assurance activities


• Create test strategy, and produce test scripts for medium to complex enhancements


• Execute testing for medium to complex enhancements

-Production Support-

• Perform analysis to resolve day-to-day production support issues

Qualifications:

• 7+ years in business systems analysis with at least 3-4 years of experience with large scale and complex systems


• Excellent analytical, trouble shooting and problem solving skills with attention to detail


• Ability to lead cross-team projects


• 3+ years of Project Management experience on moderate to complex level projects is desirable


• Experience with Financial (Contract, Revenue Accounting, SAP) systems is desirable


• Understanding of Software Development Life-Cycle


• Scrum Master and Agile certification is preferred
