As a Senior Software Developer, Web Applications, 100 percent remote role, you will be a core member of one of several cross-functional teams building software in an agile environment. As practitioners of Scrum, we empower teams to set and achieve their own sprint goals while continually improving upon the team dynamic from sprint to sprint. You will be developing applications built with Ruby on Rails, Node, React, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS/ HTML, and SQL while collaborating daily with your teammates on architecture, design, and code reviews.

If you have a strong interest or expertise in any particular area of our stack, we have several guilds whose charter is to define and champion best practices for functional areas such as CSS, JavaScript, Ruby, Automation, and general Coding Standards.

Responsibilities: (including estimated time of how much of an average week is spent doing each item. This is subject to change):

• 33% - Design and develop robust full-stack solutions


• 33% - Work collaboratively in a cross-functional Scrum team to achieve regular sprint goals


• 34% - Proactively participate in and improve our development process (CI/CD, backlog refinement, code reviews, monitoring)

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science


• At least six years of software development experience


• Knowledge of agile methodology and Scrum framework a plus
