Job Description :
A successful real estate management and investment firm is seeking an Accounting Professional to support their growth. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience, be a motivated self-starter, and strong knowledge of GAAP, and preferably have worked with Yardi.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operational accounting of individual properties
- Manage all aspects of accounting, including but not limited to, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, general ledger entries, reconciliations, and collections
- CAM Accounting
- Month-End Close
- Accurately process month-end reports, quarterly reports, and audits as required
- Pay property taxes, property insurance, and other property-related expenses
- Preparing month-end financial reports
- Working with Property Managers and internal accounting employees
Required Qualifications :
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, or related field(Non-negotiable)
- Property management experience (One year preferred)
- Yardi experience (Preferred)
- Strong Excel and MS Office skills
- Have strong communication skills, and be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
