Revenue Accountant (AR)

Job Description :
Revenue Accountant  will be assisting on the residential side of the business. There are 20 employees within the accounting department. Main responsibilities will be to work on bank deposits and General Ledger.

Department: Accounting
Reports To: Accounting Manager
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 9 am – 6 pm (subject to change)
Location: Beverly Hills Office 



Account Receivable Activities

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations for tenant receivable and preparing

  • deposits for multiple residential projects.

  • Review and prepare monthly tenant statements including next month's rent related

  • charges and mail to tenant.

  • Input charge and credit forms as approved by Property Managers

  • Prepare and make deposits for multiple entities

  • Post tenant receipts to appropriate charge codes for individual tenant ledgers

  • Follow-up on tenants with delinquent and credit A/R balances

  • Prepare and comment on Tenant AR Aging reports on a monthly

  • Meets Accounting Department calendar deadlines


Additional Functions

  • Maintain recurring expense schedules for all properties

  • Assist with other data input projects like inputting budgets/forecasts

  • Other duties and responsibilities as needed.


Required Qualifications :


  • Minimum Education (or substitute experience) required:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training in residential property accounting; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Experience with Yardi software a plus
