The Agile Project Manager / Scrum Master will report to a Sr. Manager.

The ideal candidate will have led multiple high-visibility, large-scale technologies and

managed the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of large-scale, cross functional initiatives. Also you should be able to improve the delivery of solutions through innovation and persistence, serving teams consisting of product & engineers . 

Duties:

• Supports Product Owner(s) with project coordination, scoping, tracking action items, maintaining project schedules and milestones


• Oversees all relevant scrum activities; standups, grooming, sprint closeout, planning, facilitate sprint demos and retrospectives


• Manages day-to-day activities for project team members to ensure blockers are removed and increase team throughput (maximize team velocity)


• Protects team from outside distractions so engineering can focus on their work


• Owns reporting and communication on project status to various levels of the organization


• Organizing and maintaining project artifacts


• Manage and mitigate project risks & issues


• Ability to anticipate / report and mitigate issues that will impact schedule / quality


• Take meeting minutes and distribute to attendees  

Basic Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

• 3+Years in a PM and Scrum Master role with proven track record of delivering complex projects successfully


• Experienced SCRUM and or other Agile methodologies with a demonstrated understanding of SDLC


• Delivers engaging, informative, well-organized presentations


• Big X consulting experience a plus (BX = “Business Experience” is more than CX “Customer Experience.” BX looks holistically at the entire business and all departments!!)


• Implementing data-focused initiatives with an understanding of data models and how metadata works within the application landscape a plus


• Knowledge of products and services in the Media and Entertainment industry a plus


• PM and/or CSM certification a plus
