About the Job:

We are currently seeking candidates for an open Frontend JavaScript Developer position in our UX Department.

The Frontend JavaScript Developer works with the Design and Backend teams to create efficient solutions and provide the best experience for our end user.
We have a variety of products: from complex applications, to internal admin tools, to standalone promo pages. The work is varied and so will be the technology and solutions.

Responsibilities: 

• Write elegant, efficient, concise code that follows best practices.


• Create UI solutions with user in mind.


• Able to confidently articulate how the JavaScript solutions answer user needs, business goals, technical constraints and other projects facets, and translate that into a working bridge between PHP developers and designers/frontend developers


• Build and maintain reusable code, internal libraries, and documentation.


• Responsible for optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability.

Compensation/Benefits:

Qualifications: 

• Must be able to write plain JavaScript. JS frameworks are a plus but plain JS is a must.


• 3+ years of professional experience with JavaScript (please provide links to prior work, code samples,


• portfolio etc.).


• Understanding of modern browser differences and cross-browser compatibility issues.


• Abreast of JavaScript design best practices, patterns and techniques.


• Knowledge of Chrome Dev Tools.


• Great attention to detail and ability to see (and test) the product from end user’s perspective.


• Ability to work well in a team environment and willingness to learn and adapt to changing business needs

Extra points for:

• Experience working with live video (hls, rtmp, webrtc, html5 media elements).


• Experience working with web sockets.


• Experience in designing single-page applications.
