Job Description :
Financial Analyst will be responsible for various key functions that support the monthly billing function for Advertising Sales.
Basic Qualifications:
- Lead the process around tracking and timely resolution of ad sales billing and billing revisions.
- Experience with ad sales systems and billing from inception and planning to resolving issues with order setup and order delivery.
- Work closely with other team members on the monthly billing for Disney Advertising Sales (including Hulu, ESPN, ABC, Disney+, etc).
- Partner with Collections, Credit, Cash Application, Planning and Ad Operations to provide strong customer service to Sales and the Customer.
- Assist with developing efficiencies and standardization of processes and testing new system enhancements.
- Work with Collections, Ad Planning and Ad Operations to adjust invoices requiring revisions timely and accurately.
- Collaborate with Ad Planning and Operations teams to troubleshoot complex discrepant campaign planning, trafficking, and invoicing.
- Build relationships across multiple teams including Sales Planning and Operations.
- Provide support and guidance to other staff members on daily tasks
- Assist management with ad hoc projects and requests as needed
- Understanding the revenue recognition implications for ad sales billing and order delivery on financial reporting.
- Understand and execute standard operating procedures (SOP)
Required Qualifications :
Qualifications:
- SAP
- AR/billing experience needed
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Outlook
- Proactive with the ability to multi-task and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to prioritize workload and escalate conflicting priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 to 3 years’ experience in an accounting or finance role preferred
- Prior experience with or knowledge of billing systems preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting preferred
Additional Information:
- This role is local to Bristol but the teams are only going in three to four days-a-week currently.
- Interview will be a Zoom with two Managers of Financial Accounting.
- Must be a strong communicator (internally) and have systems acumen and adapt well with systems use.
