Job Description :

Highly successful global organization located in the San Fernando Valley is seeking a Director of FP&A.  The company is critically acclaimed and highly rated with historically recorded double digit growth and continues to expand by adding top talent to their team. 


 


The Director of Financial Planning and Analysis will play a critical role in driving the worldwide budget, forecast and long-term projections. This candidate will join a highly regarded team that works with all parts of the organization, including peers located in Switzerland, United Kingdom, and Australia. As the Company continues to expand into new markets and launch new product offerings, s/he will also be tasked to prepare key operational, strategic and financial analysis.





Primary Responsibilities 




  • Responsible for coordination and execution of the annual budget, quarterly forecasts & long-term financial plan




    • Work directly with business unit leaders to compile and analyze areas of the budget/forecast




    • Manage revenue forecasting and highlight trends




    • Review long-term financial plan assumptions and metrics




    • Prepare consolidation of comprehensive annual budget and financial packages






  • Analyze the Company’s cash flow and financial projections




  • Review monthly actual results to budget/forecast Partner and dialogue with accounting team




    • Investigate, reconcile and document any significant or unusual variances




    • Ensure all variances are properly reflected in reporting and next forecast






  • Assist with KPI reporting




  • Assist with preparation of materials and presentations to Board of Directors, company shareholders and financial institutions




  • Prepare management analysis and reports on an as needed basis 






Required Qualifications :
Position Requirements:


This position is ideally suited for an individual who is detail-oriented and driven by growth and change. This individual should be extremely analytical, highly organized, have excellent time management skills, and strong relationship management capabilities. Other requirements include: 


 



  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or other relevant field

  • 10 to 12+ years of work experience, with 5-7 years of public accounting (Big 4 a plus), investment banking or management consulting experience

  • Strong understanding of accounting and financial statements including cash flows

  • Highly analytical and able to synthesize large amounts of data

  • Well-developed communication skills, written and verbal – will communicate with foreign offices

  • Demonstrates positive attitude and takes a proactive approach
