Job Brief:

 


We’re looking for a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) Outreach Specialist to join our team. In this role, you’ll support DEIB global outreach and partnerships that connect construction to the tools needed to build a more inclusive future. You’ll work to ensure our employees, customers and industry partners are reflected in the DEIB initiatives we develop with a focus on driving engagement and a shared sense of belonging.


 


You’ll also work cross-functionally to help drive important conversations around DEIB in the construction industry that celebrate our differences and empower everyone to thrive. In partnership with our DEIB and Communications Teams, you will lead and develop internal and external messaging related to DEIB.


 


This position reports to the Manager of Global DEIB Outreach & Partnerships and has the opportunity to be based out of any of our U.S. or Canadian offices, or to work remotely with the expectation of moderate/ frequent travel to industry events. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.


 


Responsibilities:



  • Develop a solid understanding of the company's approach to DEIB to identify the right customer and industry partnership opportunities.

  • Oversee in partnership with Marketing and Corporate Communications team the conceptualization, design, and production of a broad array of materials in the company's brand guidelines, including reports, presentations, blogs, thought leadership articles, case studies, videos, social media strategies, press releases, and presentations.

  • Act as DEIB lead on key initiatives including but not limited to ERG communications, relevant moments like International Women’s Day, and Diversity Reports.

  • Partner closely with the DEIB team in messaging and amplifying existing and upcoming initiatives in the DEIB space.

  • Contribute to company-wide internal communications and engagement programs that engage and connect employees to the company's commitment to DEIB.

  • Build partnerships with key internal stakeholders and share communications best practices.
