Role


 


As a Account Executive for the firm, you will be key team member responsible with onboarding, prospecting and recruiting new clients. The Account Executive will help identify and convert sales, along with various other client success initiatives. Our ideal candidate believes in the power of inbound marketing and understands how to build a funnel to help us get the best leads. This person will help us build a winning brand that reaches clients who are looking for bookkeeping and accounting support across multiple industry verticals. The Account Executive will also work alongside a talented team of Account Managers to ensure that our team exceeds expectations with our clients.


 


Job Responsibilities:


 



  • This role provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales manager who is seeking to have a bigger impact on small and mid-sized businesses and loves to see their clients succeed. Additional responsibilities include:



  • Prospecting new clients based on a clear business development and client criteria strategy



  • Manage prospecting, leads and clients in CRM



  • Work with our cross functional team to design and implement accounting operations strategy for prospective clients



  • Develop reporting solutions including KPIs and manage sales forecasting



  • Work with leadership to identify areas of growth within the current client portfolio



  • Identify and utilize technologies to improve the sales and client on-boarding process


 


 


Required Qualifications :

Requirements


 



  • Degree in business/accounting/finance



  • 5 – 7 years of sales or account management experience



  • Public accounting or financial services experience a plus



  • Strong verbal and written communication skills



  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and stay organized



  • Strong customer service skills and enjoys being a problem solver



  • Growth mindset and proactive attitude is a must!



  • Must be team orientated and enjoys helping teammates grow



  • Working QuickBooks knowledge, including 3rd party apps (Shopify, RetailPro, etc.)



  • Advanced experienced with Microsoft Office software, especially Excel



  • Comfortable with learning new technology
