Responsibilities:

Managing the day-to-day operations of the Help Desk so that user problems are identified, prioritized, researched, and resolved for approximately 500 end-users, including remote users at two other sites. The Manager plans, prioritizes, and schedules Help Desk activities to ensure continuity of service and identifies areas where help-desk service can be improved. Responsible for leading, managing, evaluating, and developing Help Desk staff; as well as handle more complex issues and inquiries escalated to the Manager by Help Desk staff. The manager is also responsible for managing the organization s Applications.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in IT/PC Technology
  • At least 3 years of experience managing help desk support, including experience setting up and using a trouble ticket system
  • ITIL Foundation cert, Lean Six Sigma cert, and HDI Help Desk cert preferred
  • Database or specifically SQL training and certifications preferred
